The regular season has finished and for the first time in 17 years, White Hills has an A grade team that will be playing for at least one extra weekend. White Hills go into the semi final against the Suns on the back of a disappointing loss against Kangaroo Flat where the batting failed twice. However the Demons will be determined to make up for that and it will be up to the top 4 to set the tone with the bat. Gavin Bowles has won the BDCA 1st X1 runs with a mammoth 648 and he will be determined to notch up another century this weekend. White Hills will go in to the match full of confidence after defeating the Suns just 3 weeks ago when they defended only 181. Coach Rhys Irwin (23 wickets) and captain Mitch Winter-Irving (22 wickets) will lead the way with the ball for the Demons who also have Travis Colley in good form with the new ball. White Hills has made 1 change to the line-up with all-rounder Adrian Holland in after scoring a half century and picking up 2 wickets last round replacing Jayden Sheean. Strathdale come into the match after having bowled Strathfieldsaye out for just 97 last round. While it is a daunting task that awaits the Demons at Bell Oval this weekend, they will go into the match knowing very well they can take it up to the defending champs and cause an upset.
